Goyo Travel is a fully licensed and bonded tour operator.
We hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL), No. 10700, issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). We are bonded with the CAA, underwritten by Travel and General Insurance.
For trips not covered under the ATOL scheme, these are covered by an IPP (International Passenger Protection) insurance policy. In the event of our financial failure before departure, all monies paid – and which are covered by ATOL or IPP – will be refunded. If failure occurs while you are on your trip, the bond administrators or insurance company will first of all attempt to apply the funds to complete your trip, or if this is not possible, they will ensure that you are repatriated to the UK.
Our membership of these organisations means that our accounts are subject to regular and stringent independent scrutiny, which, although it cannot prevent failure, certainly makes it less likely. You can book with Goyo Travel in complete confidence that all monies paid to us for trips are fully protected.
Our ATOL membership number is 10700. Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Any flight-inclusive packages bought by any person physically present in the UK at time of booking, or with flights departing from the UK, will be protected under the ATOL regulations.
Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. If your trip does not include any flights, or you are not in the UK at the time of purchasing your flight-inclusive holiday (unless the flight departs from the UK), you will not be protected by ATOL. Instead you will be protected by our IPP Insurance Policy. This covers all your Mongolia holiday arrangements, including domestic flights, but will NOT cover - nor are we required to cover - any international flights that do not come under the ATOL regulations. For this reason, making international flight bookings through Goyo Travel when you are not in the UK at time of booking, or that do not originate in the UK, is entirely at your own risk.
If you are covered by our IPP policy it will be noted on your booking confirmation, and the following wording applies:
In accordance with the UK Package Travel & Linked Travel Regulations 2018, Directive (EU) 2015/2302 or the local applicable law in the country of residence of the passenger(s) booking with Goyo Travel Ltd are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies received by us, including repatriation costs and arrangements, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Goyo Travel Ltd
The respective laws accordingly to the country of residence of the passenger(s) usually only requires us to provide cover for Package & Linked Travel Arrangements, there is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips or single elements, and none is provided unless the local law requires such. Goyo Travel Ltd has taken out an insurance provided by International Passenger Protection Ltd (IPP) with Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe SE (LMIE) trading as Liberty Specialty Markets, a member of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. LMIE's registered office: 5-7 rue Leon Laval, L-3372, Leudelange, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Registered Number B232280 (Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés). LMIE is a European public limited liability company and is supervised by the Commissariat aux Assurances and licensed by the Luxembourg Minister of Finance as an insurance and reinsurance company. This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to Goyo Travel Ltd
